Might have to use silicone. You could make a paper template from your old gasket or from the car body itself to use with what ever material you plan on using.

hi
I was actually looking on ebay to see what the price of a sheet of foam gasket costs.
Its not that expensive compared to buying it from Toyota. I think Toyota do EACH side gasket for around ?17.00 plus vat and its is despatched from Japan. so it can take time. I think using silicon may be messy, especially when it comes to removing the rear light cluster in the future. My advice is to use the thick matting you can get from camping shops. A massive 6' X 3' (approx) will cost no more than ?5.00 ! A true bargain ! From that you can cut any shape gasket you require. As added precaution, just spray silicon WD40 to waterproof it all. I will post up pics when i do mine. Thanks |

WD-40 could mess with the paint.
