1987 Supra Warning light question
 

I have recently purchased a 1987 supra (non turbo), and ever since it's had this orange light with the picture of a car and some lines in the back of it.
I'ts right next to the warning light when a door is open, can any1 tell me what it is because its just driving me crazy. Any feedback is greatly apreciated. thanx.

Sounds like the birdcage... but what is it doing next to the door warning light? If memory serves, starting from the top left and going clockwise, it goes light failure switch light, door open light, check engine light, ABS failure light in that small four-light cluster.

If it is indeed the birdcage (which is normally the light on the dash farthest to the left) then you are low on coolant in your system, usually both in the engine and in the overflow container. Usually this is a very bad sign.

replace your bulbs in the taillights :)
