New rebuilt 7M GTE smokes when backing off
Fresh engine with minor mods (after market IC, Drift Motion 3" down pipe and exhaust, Drift Motion modified oil pump and pipe, big block chevy inner valve springs) did not smoke for first 300 miles but did have high boost (never above 12 psi) due to waste gate linkage hitting IC pipe. After fixing waste gate and doing my usual break in routine, car began to oil smoke when baking off to a stop sign.
Does anybody have a diagram of PVC system for when using the modified "3000" pipe and a catch can? Might I have damaged turbo seal? Any other thoughts most welcome. |
