Turbo Heat shield
I have a bone stock 87 turbo and I was wondering if anyone has taken off the heat shield around there turbo and if its okay to do so? I see all the cars on car domain and places like that all dont have them. What do you suggest?
Thanks, Matt |

when i still had the 7m i dint take the heat shield off...only because its there for one reason...to not let teh heat from teh turbo permeate into the engine bay....makes for some hot atmospheric air near the intake...that brings down efficiency...though if you wanted to you can...it wont make much difference, its not really a big deal, but i left mine on
