tapping noise behind dash ?
 

my 88 turbo has a tapping noise behind the dash and the speedo needle bounces i was wondering if anyone knows what it could be and how to fix it cause it is really annoying lol

^ That's the way I've "saved" spending $ on a new cable over the years on several cars. But... I use ATF cause its thinner, and goes in easier, and does not create as much 'drag' on the cable as it is turning inside the sheath as you drive.
