Brake upgrade for the NA Mark III

i think the problem with cross drilled rotors are the ones that are normal rotors, that then get drilled. the ones that are built as cross drilled are designed to be that way, the others are not, and so weaken the disk. the problem going to big after market brakes are that they do not have dust covers built in, and so need to be stripped and reconditioned often. best bet would be to find some bigger oem ones, like calipers and rotors off of a lexus ls400 (4 pot). need custom mounts made for them though, and will need to be certed, but will leed less attention than aftermarkets.

suze is right though, i think the n/a mk3's run the earlier brake setup, which has the smaller calipers and rotors. upgrade to the later mk3 turbo ones, and if the brakes feel spongy after this, also upgrade your brake booster, as they might be different as well.
