rebuilt and upgraded 50 trim turbo..
well i got my turbo back from performance techniques in california thursday, I had it Rebuilt and a 50 trim wheel installed to flow 40% more air = less heat and they machined out my aluminum cover to fit the new wheel for $450 total as per his supra forums ad which i havent seen? uhhhya the
supra forums.. Ya thats it... It looks awsome and works great. . I recomend them by phone not emails lol.. Also found out why i toasted mine... i saw on HKS's web site that the ct26 wont flow any more air past 13psi. The PSI will increase no problem,, but the volume of air running through the turbo remains the same...Only heat is created (thats bad)... and therfore any thing over 13psi is pointless and just over spins the stock turbo (thats really bad). so if i said 14 psi was ok on the ct26 i was fricken wrong wrong wrong wrong hahhahah...and my appologies to anyone who took my advice, so turn your boost down to 12 on stock ct26 to keep it alive bit longer...
