Fuel rail spacers
So I had a leak around the #6 fuel injector. Not too bad to get to the fuel rail (off comes the throttle body, again, but doesn't it come off for just about everything we do to these engines) - I've gotten to where I can get there in about 15 min now.
Bought complete seal kits for all six injectors (Rock Auto had a great deal on them). One thing I noticed on reassembly is that I am missing the three aluminium spacers that fit between the fuel rail and the head. The three bolts that hold the fuel rail pass through these on their way to screwing into the head. They weren't there when I took her apart. Toyota dealership gave me the part # (90561-08018) but of course there are none on the continental US. Anyone have one handy and can give me the dimensions on it? Really just need the height (between the fuel rail and the head). I can make new spacers but need the proper dimensions. |

I know this is way late but you might be able to find a set on eBay. Remember that the plastic inserts touch the fuel rail to insulate heat transfer somewhat.
