Poser Alert: Cressida claims to be Supra
 

Someone has put a 1987 Cressida for sale on Craig's list and claims that it has a Supra engine and suspension derived from the Supra which is a total lie. Cressida did not get a 7M engine until 1989. This poser has a 1987 Cressida with McPherson strut suspension, the Supra does not. At first he said it was a MKIII engine and I got him to change it to MKII. The closest kin this thing has is a MKII 5M "Celica" Supra that was discontinued the year before. If I were this bonehead, I would just sell it as what it is and make no other claims.
