N/A to turbo engine swap
hey, i'm buying a 7mgte from a company in canada and i have a 87 n/a supra and i was wondering what else do i need to make my car fit the turbo engine? they say that they will plug in and work but since mine isn't a turbo i'm wondering what else i would need to do? any help is appericated

they say it will plug in and run if u have the same model but i have a n/a supra and putting a turbo 7mgte into it so i'm wondering if there are other things i need to do like an ecu and wireing harness. trying to convince someone its not that hard.
i i'm ordering mine through Enginelandinc.com its 750 for the engine and 180 to ship it here to maine. |

Yeah dude. U need the ECU (preferrably 89+ b/c of altitude compensator) turbo ignitor, and try to find a R154 trans instead of the W58. I'm doing the sameswap also but cant make up my mind between the 7MGTE and the 1JZ. And ofcourse you will need a intercooler, oilcooler, and downpipe. And whatever i left out i'm sure somebody will tell u.
