Post do luck middle support bar?? stiffin er up

I was talking with a uni-body street racer buddy of mine, granted he runs a front wheel drive shelby charger, i know i know... ,, not a supra.. and he runs a full roll cage to "triangulate the front end with the back end" to remove the flex? hes one of the smartest machinists ive ever known. ..and its just his daily driver...and he was thinking that the middle support bar should not be all that effective against front to rear end flex. but more side to side roll like front and rear bars? i just wanted to bring this up again and see if any new info on this is out there? thinking about getting one or building something similar... want to be safer but a roll cage is a huge mod...and not sure its the way i want to go ...

looking for do luck middle support bar reviews on flex?

Default

i think ur bud is right...itll reduce the body roll and the flex of the car from the sides...it could allow an increase in corner speed, a roll cage is a pretty big mod...though i would go with teh support bar...ive never used one... so i wouldnt know too much about it
