used Japanise motor Rpms wont go past 3.5!! Help!

Hi!

Just got back from Iraq and picked up my car from the lock up on Fort Lewis and drove it without oil and destoyed one of my piston rods! Doh!

Gotta find a used engine...
Found out that Kent Washington imports used low mile engines from Japan for cheap with installation.
Now I have a used 7m-gte engine and manual transmission both used and I can't get Past 3 and a half rpms.

Old engine you can get to the red line if you wanted to. :lol: Now it just sort of laggs untill I change gears!! :unsure: Someone help!
