Default DIY Guy here...

I've searched and searched, but the only info I've been able to find is the actual size of the 1987 MK3's speakers. 4"....

Well, I know how to access the stock deck and remove that. That was the easiest stereo ive ever done since my CB7 Accord!

well, I took a good and hard look at the speaker panels on my MK3's doors. And Im lost. I tried to pry at it with a flat head, but i was scared off by the sound of interior glue slowly ripping from the door panel.

Do I have to take the whole door panel off to get to the speakers? If so, How do I get the door panels off?

I honestly dont care about the rear speakers, because I have some boxed 6x9's that will take that channel

sorry if this has been covered before, I searched....

Default remove the door panel

yes you will need to remove the door panel. there are screws around the door.i dont remember how many but there are two under the circular pop out things on the door handle, and two under the triangular speaker grill. once the door panel is off the speaker will be in the speaker box which you will need to also unscrew to get out.
