Aiming for 350 rwhp

I would like to have an equal length 6 to 1 header built for a nice Holset Turbo to so I will have potential for more than 350 rwhp, but that is all I want right now.

I my friend is doing the header for me, out of 321 SS.

My boost guess would be about 14 psi.

Will a stock '87 turbo engine handle that?

Short answer, yes.

To my knowledge, the factory fuel system will support that much boost, pushing past that may be detrimental to your engines health.

you'll never see 14 lbs with a stock set up .

you'll be introduced to fuel cut off
aka FCO real quick

ummm short answer NO it wont work.if your fuel dont cut your gonna blow something up.if you gonna do all that you should just upgrade a few more things and save yourself the headache.your HP goal is easily achieved dont give yourself any extra headaches.

i will have to agree with RS87 at the moment, a turbo gets you power, yes, but there are other issues that you must attend to ...assuming you havent upgraded them yet, bigger turbo means ull need a better cooling system otherwise the engine will run too hot, then are other components taht also must be addressed, teh big one being the headgasket, but 14lbs on stock 7m is possible, if the right components are put into it, the block can handle the power, it just depends on how well you take care of the motor and the number of preventative measures u take to allow it to handle that amount of boost
