engine swap 1jz to a 2jz
I want to put a 2jz engine in my 1988 toyota supra but i dont know if it is possiable i heard that it is a direct swap from a couple people but they dont own supras so if any one has any info that would be helpfull

its possible, tehre will be some modifications to the mounts, teh motor is a little bigger so some of the components will have to be put somewhere else

you will need an 89+ crossmember or get custom mounts as in the pre 89 crossmember jz series does not slot in
from there it's alot of wiring and lengthening and money to get the jz series engine and get it finally running good luck with the swap www.1jz-gte.us is quite a good site for the jz series swap
