Lazy eye
I know it been covered before somewhere, but i just cant find it, maybe not this forum, but anyway, i need a link to how to set up your headlights for the lazy eye look? Saw one in real life the other day and does look really good on the Mkiii. Thanks

theres a thread on here under the exterior, interior, and detailing heading about the sleepy eye..its like the 4 or 5th post down
|
Thanks Supraman. I'll check it out. All i really need to know is in some cases of adjusting the motors i have read people disconnecting something once they are set? And some dont mention anything about disconnecting anything? And once they are set, do the lights still pop up to full when you put your lights on? Anyway, thanks again.

Highly recommend getting the Pivot pop-up headlight adjuster from Ebay or something. It allows you to adjust the headlights to close at any height via a rheostat. By using this you can have your sleepy eye set up and when you need your headlights turned on they will close fully and open up fully then return to sleepy mode after you turn them off. You're looking around 70 bucks for this thingy, but it has full instructions and it's really easy to install.

Thanks Dragon. Sounds like the way to go. Does this mean that they dont move if you set them without the kit using the motors?
|
or you can just turn em on and off real fast and catch them half way...
(some skill required) |
Sleepy eyes suck. Just my opinion...
|
^^ i agree, It makes the car look like it should be drug tested..
|
Thanks Nate for your input, helps me a lot. Is'nt there a section for tool bags full of useless comments?? Im sure someone will get something out of your dribble but maybe here is just not the ideal place for your special kind of help. Thanks again.

hahaha, the supra gets drug tested all the time...its called inspection
|
no testing here, unless you bring one in from another state.. even then its just a mechanical inspection, not smog or sterroid mods

Heres a pic i found of a Supra the same color and wheels as mine with lazy eye. I think it does look like it needs testing, but it looks great. And your not putting something on the car like vinyls or Flurecent lights.:naughty: .
Anyway, i played with the motors, did nothing, spoke to friend of mine at Autobarn and he tells me i can buy the kits. Depending how much they cost, i will most likely get them as you have full control over your lights. |
rice... sorry man
|
Fair go Nate, there all rice, Its a Toyota Supra!
Dont worry Nate, i'll let you know how much the kits cost, cause i know you want them, it would make your original Blue Supra look like a good one. ;) The more you tell me you dont like them, the more research i'll do for you to get your hands on a kit. Autobarn is pricey, so im sure you could do better. I'll keep you informed.:bouncy: |
Eye love sleepy eyes. I dig your whip too Nate. To each his own...
