I'm working on a friends 87 supra and we had to unplug the AFM to get it so that he can even drive it. According to his Haynes manual I checked the AFM with an Ohm meter and it tested bad. He bought a used AFM on the internet and I tested it and it was bad also even though the seller said it was known good. The seller also says that you can't test the AFM and that if we did test it with an Ohm meter that we probably broke it since we put it on the car and we had the same problem as with the original AFM.
So I have several questions:
