i say a 2jz-gte in a 88 supra would be nicer than a 1jz-gte. and there is no need to bash in the firwall or the shock towers to make it fit. plus where im from in California the 1jz-gte would be a problem to be legally smog. and the 2jz-gte would be carb approved and smog legal. but then just costing as much as buying a mk4 tt. secret to have a 2jz-gte twin turbo wid the 6spd tranny: move everything up about 2inches by making custom motor mounts n tranny mounts n everything will fall in place beautifully. here's sumthin to see for yourself.
