Engine Wiring Harness Help.
There's one harness preventing me from totally removing the whole harness, it's the one that snakes to the transmission. I'm on the verge of just saying, "screw it, I'm cutting the SOB off, then splicing it together". It seems to be only one or two wires. Anybody know how I can remove it without resorting to cut-n-splice?

ive read some where on here its just easier to under the harness from the ecu and pull it through the fire wall but sounds like you went the other way already. i dont recall how i got the one connecter off the transmission, sorry
well i guess you still need to take it off the tranny even if you did go the other way. |
Are you asking about the ABS connector or the back up light wire?
|
Logically thinking about it, I think it's the back up wire, because it follows the transmission towards the middle, where it goes beyond sight and reach between the tranny and the body.

there is a connector for that backup wire that is located on the drivers side, down below the brake master cylinder, it may have to be pulled a bit to reach it. usually its hidden above the tranny.. its routed over the top of the tranny correct? its there, its just hard to find it....
