Call your local wrecking yard. All the yards across the country are tied into each other thru the internet. I can pick up the phone and get an engine for $ 600 delivered in 3-5 days.
Of course, I'm going to use a Boroscope to look down into the cylinders to check it out before installing it. And pull the pan too.
