Help me find a Brake Tee
The Tee where the rear brake line separates to both rear wheels is rusted through and leaking fluid.. I'm not having much luck finding it at an autoparts store.. I called the dealer who asked if its a proportioning valve and said thats about 300 bucks. But i was doing research online and it seems a Tee and a proportioning valve could be two different things.. anyone know and if it is a brake Tee where can I get one? thanks.

It sounds like the dealer parts guy should pull his head out, but plug your ears, cause it will be a very loud pop. Or he's so new, he can barely wipe.
The proportioning valve is located down on the frame area up front. He should easily be able to locate the "T" you need at the back of the car. It will be very cheap. He will probably need to order it, (1-3 days). Also try Carquest if you have one. Or an independent parts house. When I worked at Carquest, we stocked all the sizes.
