Twin-charged supra
I read this article in popular science and was wondering if it could be done on a supra mkIII with factory (or any) turbo.
http://www.popsci.com/popsci/bown200...cbccdrcrd.html It uses an electronic clutch (like an AC fan clutch) to disengage the supercharger when the turbo spools up so that you get great low end AND high end without the super bogging your engine down at high speeds. How BIG are superchargers? Could one even fit? |
