normally on a bhg the white smoke will come out continuously... whether idle or accelerating
being that it's only minor smoke it's either just seeping a little bit into the cylinders or it could be something else i would get a block check done just to verify you can just go straight to a mechanic and generally they will send the block & head to a reconditioner to get done arp head studs will come with the correct torque setting, mine said 82ft lbs
