Basic Questions about my New car = )

Hey I'm new here and I'm happy because i just bought a twin cam Turbo supra year 1988. The year i was born

. Anyways though I have a targa top and i dont have the things to take it off. I'm wondering where can I buy the tools to remove the top.... and how you do it. Sorry I dont know much about cars... but that doesn't mean I dont enjoy my supra

. Also I just passed my smog!

.. but on the way there my brother drove the car... I think he knows more than me about cars. He said it's a good car but also that the shifts are to short. That I need to expand them, he meant that you have to shift from 1 to 2 and 3 to fast i guess.. How can i change this. Also my car i believe is a normal Toyota Supra twin cam Turbo targa top... how much HP does this model have? thanks!

i read this in another forum so dont hate me, but its just a 6mm allen wench bit, available at any parts shop

And the gap between shift points is a 'fixed' item. You can't change it.
You can change the differential (rearend) to a taller gear ratio, but it would make your car feel a lot slower at takeoff, and up to speed.
