any way

is there any way to tweak the stock 87 turbo super it get some extra speed out of it or ne good n cheap upgrades i could get money is kinda an issue

raise the boost with a low dollar manual boost controller or even cheaper to shim the waistgate actuator.... but dont over do it!!!!.

i would not recomend this untill you atleast get an aftermarket boost gauge that is more accurate that the stock gauge

my 2 cents

hey joel i know ur goin to answer this or ne 1 eles is this a good boost controller. and do any common stores like best buy sell um or circuit city and its says max psi is 30 how much does it push stock

hey joel will this work cuz this one is cheaper but does the same stuff http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Turbo...QQcmdZViewItem

i would think that either would work fine. good price for sure. have not used it personally though..

i dont think circuit city can yelp ya? but its been a while since ive been in one... look at some of the vendors here too.

Just watch those manual boost controllers, they boost surge alot more than electronic ones. And just like JW said, better gauge. I have a friend who runs a shimmed wastegate at 9PSI all the time and he hasn't blown his head gasket but be careful, the factory manual specifically says don't run more than 8 for extended periods.

would i have to re-gauge cuz the supra has a turbo gauge already could i just use that without buyin a new one. so no more then 8 makes sense since the stock gauge says 8 max on the dash display. hit me back

the stock one is old and only goes to 8psi. a new one will be more accurate and have a wider range.

but to run it over 8 would be more of a risk for now. can i keep the old one im not lookin to destorythe engine, and my pockets kinda empty so is there like a major issue using the old one

will this fit a 87 supra
