well i have just purchased a car with an 89 7mgte conversion, love toyota 6's. thing is it has a bad miss at idle and wont idle until its hot. it is an auto and totally stock. is there some comin probs that i can check before i start pullin it to pieces, eg maf, tps, coil pack that cause this type of behavier? what kind of ignition trigger do they use, could this be my problem? the miss seems to go away when its under load an revin above 2500 rpm but still feels under powered.
any ideas would be appreciated. thanks. |
