Noob questions
Hey guys. Just wondering, I have an 89 turbo and i was told that i have to change the oil in a special way because i am dealing with a turbo now instead of an N/A engine. is this true? Or can i just change the oil in the car like any normal car. Second, standard gasoline is ok to use right?

Change the oil every 3,000 miles or every 3 months, whichever comes 1st.
Your boosted Supra requires 91+ Octane. |
Hey thanks. I appreciate the help....

Priming the Oil Filter
Quote:
That helps us prime the filter. Priming the filter means to put oil in it then then screw it on so that there is oil upon start up. I would do that for any car if I could. Some other like to take it a step further and have the engine turn over before it starts. Some ways to do that would be to remove an ignition wire or the EFI fuse, but I don't go that far. |
