|
dude ! you live in clinton ?
i live in guilford |
yah i do, small world, what do you have
|
Do the 1Jz, I've heard this to be the easier swap. Not to say the 2Jz is out of the ? though....
|
i dont mind on which one is harder i want the one that is better for the car will it all line up? why is one harder then the other? can some one answer me this?
|
what's the matter with a 7m ?
www.7mpower.com. i got to 300 easily....just ran out of money but i know i can get to 400 without too much effort just need cash |
you guys arent talking about clinton, md are you?
2jz swap- pain in the ass splicing harnesses, need mounts and bellhousing made, pricey 1jz swap- need ecu, harness, bellhousing, mounts 7m- do i need to explain? without a doubt, the 2jz would kick major ASS, if you could afford it. if you want a swap the 1jz would be a lil easier. personally though id stick with the 7m. |
yah clinton ct,
i was goine to get the tranny with the engine why would i need a bellhouseing? and what mounts cuz i thought they both drop right in and the 7m are u kiding me i was starting to build mine then shit it the wall and it blew i dont like 7m at all |
The problem is the 2JZ is a twinturbo. It takes up alot more space and needs alot more modification to fit. The 1JZ is more of a cousin than a distant cousin from what i've read. Never done the swap myslef but there are alot more people here with 1JZs than with 2s.
