WE are talking about a N/A car with a distributor. ONE coil. If the distributor is installed 180* out, the car will NOT run (unless you erroneously put the spark plug wires into the wrong places in the distributor cap to compensate for the error of 180* out).

Well I had this same problem after replacing my HG. It's an 86.5 N/A. The distributor was put in one tooth off and it did this. Reset it one tooth to the right and wallah, problem fixed.

ok didnt realize you were talking about N/A, but you dont have to be an ass hole about it. If you dont think that can be than maybe you should call wheeler toyota grants pass O.R. and learn somthing. ask about an 87 turbo that was 180 out.
