engine swapssss
what exactly do i have to change to put a 1 jz or 2 jz motor in my 87 non turbo?? or is it easier to put a 7mgte in? and if so what do i gotta do to put that one in?

It is much easier and cheaper to swap in a 7MGTE instead of the JZ conversion...I don't know exactly how cheap or what you need, I'm jumping straight to 1jz but it's costing me at least $4500-$5000 just to get the engine in. You could swap a 7MGTE and get some modifications going for that much.

danm...thats gonna take me a while to save up...shit, i might as well juss do a 7mgte swap....for now till i save up...but does anyone know what i need for converting from non turbo to turbo? well im gettin a motor, tranny, ecu n wire harness in the package...do i need anything else?

you might need some mounts...the mountsfrom 88 changed when 89 came.. so look into that...
