where to get fan covers?
i need a replacement fan cover, which i cant find anywhere. i went to the only junkyard here that has supras and no luck. also looked for them in the cressidas in case they were retrofittable, and no luck. then the guy at the junkyard told me they werent made aftermarket only oem. which brings me to my next question, is that true? and can they be ordered online cheaper? also, how necessary is it to have them? i havent had any overheating problems. however, i dont know how hot is still safe.

They are only made by Toyota, and are big $$. Try listing in the 'parts wanted' section (towards bottom of homepage).
Mine had a big crack, so I threw it away when I went electric fan. Perhaps someone will sell you theirs. You really need one if you run the a/c, or live in very hot summer area.
