Buzzing Auto transmission
 

Hello,

The auto 'box has started to buzz recently, seems to do it whatever 'shift' i am in? Sometimes it's not there then it starts and stops. There are no problems with selecting gears etc.

Wondering if it might be a heat shield or something?

It may be a vibrating shield on the exhaust, very common. If you have some ramps, get it up on them and feel around (when cool) to see if you can find something loose. If not, have a friend rev it up and down while you look under there for a possible loose shield.

Thought it might be something like that :) was not sure if there was a heat shield around there so i'll check it out, thanks
