I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE CAN TELL ME IF I CAN BOOST UP MY STOCK TURBO ON MY 1990 SUPRA. I KNOW THAT IF I REPLACE THE SPRING WITH A TIGHTER ONE IN THE WASTEGATE, IT MIGHT WORK. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT TYPE OF SPRING I NEED FOR IT AND HOW EXACTLY TO PUT IT IN.

the mod is actually called "shimming the wastegate" if you do a search for shim the wastegate you will find how to do it and you don't change the spring at all

You could also try a 80 dollar boost controller.
We use a cheap one on one of the cars we run. It's needed adjustment before, though. Comes loose sometimes. |
