I'm thinking of changing to a one piece driveline, and getting rid of the carrier bearing, so I'm curious if there are any con's. I've already got most of the pro's from the vendor

Can't think of any cons. Lighter and no carrier bearing or extra U-joints has to be a plus. Seems like all the serious fast guys go that way eventually. Get it, it is a major plus for the drive train.
I guess the only thing might be its strength. Really sticky tires and a lot of power like 500 hp or so, does the manufacturer state that it can handle that or more. I am sure it can, but you might ask, unless they already said that was no problem. If not, then I wish I could afford one, because I would definately get one. Russ |

I thought it sounded like a win/win situation but I wanted to double check. The manufacturer says it's good to 650hp

If its lighter you might loose an 1/8th of a gallon per mile, hehe.
