NA->T swap and convertion questions
 

if you have done and swap from N/A for a 7mgte. can you give me the price you payed. i need to find out about how much it will cost me for a good low milage engine. also can i get someone turn me in the direction of a good large HP turbokit. websites all that good stuff.

and please done tell me to make sure it in good running condition and all that. i just got done doing that.

and also with the swap what should i be looking for to make sure its a good swap. leeks anc creeks type of thing.

the price is going to vary greatly depending on whether your going to do the swap yourself or have a shop do it.

how is the turbo on it? and would that be the easyest and cheapest thing to do, swap and then kit or what?

i'd imagine the turbo would be in good working condition since they are backing there engines with a 3 year warranty.

there are quite a number of turbo kits available but to tell you the truth i don't know which one is better. if i had a trubod engine and was looking into getting a turbo kit i would know more.

About $3300 from my local dealer, or about $100 for a used one with many miles but in still usable shape.
