Default Check engine codes

I just bought my supra and the check engine light is on and my speedometer doesn't work, I did a diagnostic check and got error codes 42,43, and 52. I think I can figure out code 53-the knock sensor, but I have no idea how to fix or wear the speed sensor signal is in order to get rid of this light and get my speedometer working agian. Does anyone have any advice?

id pull the speedo cable loose at tranny and try to manually spin it while someone looks at the dash to see if it move.. speedo cable seems to be a common problem, there is a link somewhere about how to oil them, but if it was neglected too long, something can break or sieze..

The cable on my '89 automatic goes into the rear of tranny on passenger side. It's hard to get to because of the mounts/frame etc.

I believe there is a split at the firewall 1/2 way down.

The speed sensor (check light problem) is in the speedo head. Hopefully its the cable bad. Otherwise I think you have to replace the speedometer to get the sensor.
