my 89 n/a is at the dr., thanx guys. need a little info on another car .
hey guys thankz for helping me reborn my Supra. some may remember that recently my baby (89 Supra n/a) was sick, remember it had all those wierd symptoms (brake and power steering container overflowed, coolant "mysteriously" dissapeared 4rm radiator, car starts throwing out of the muffler really thick white smoke...) well i was at the point where i was selling my car because of all the problems it had gave me, but I LOVE MY SUPRA 2 MUCH and decided to give it another chance. so yup its at the shop right now, the thing is that the guy told me that its wierd because theres no signs of the oil mixing with water. so he said theres a possibility that i might not have a BHG, but a problem with my coolant system. but be what it be im reborning my baby.
oh yeah and the other reason im giving it life again is because of this flossy, thinkz hes all that, pretty boy show off that shows up at the place where our car club meets, with a 99 Prelude DOHC V-TEC with the titronic transmission (AEM V2 Cold Air Intake, DC Headers, AEM Pulleys..) all riced out, i mean fixed up, passes through my car and happends to say "hey, whos driving that Supra?" so i said i was, and he says "that happends to be my parking, so can you move that ugly piece of s*** slug outta there" i was so enraged and mad because this was the day i noticed it was throwing out the smoke so i couldnt race him. so i told him to give me a month and ill run his pretty little slug for slips at Irwindale Dragstrip. im a man of my word, and i dont have no doubts on my baby but does anybody know what the outcome of this race would be at Irwindale Dragstrip, which is 1/8 of a mile=89 Toyota Supra N/A 5spd. 40Kmi JDM engine, pretty much stock except for an air filter VS 99 Honda Prelude DOHC V-Tec w/Titronic Tranny, AEM Cold Air, DC headers, aem pulleys..? |

i'd say you gonna lose
unless you manage to put 7mgte or 1jzgte in before then the fact that there are no signs of oil in water and the other way around could mean that you blew a gasket between cylinder and water passage but that wouldn't explain powersteering fluid overflowing |

Yeah, hes kinda got you by almost 1500 pounds... Good luck, be ready to run the redline and hope your tires stick better than his at launch.
Edit: If it helps i've handed these cars their asses before but i'm also running turbo along with engine(although minor), intake, ignition, intercooler, and exhaust mods. |
