Just purchased a 91 Supra, need help!
Well, I purchased a 1991 Supra Turbo which I'll be picking up this wednesday. It' has a few problems though that hopefully some of you guy's will have some idea about. The 1st is oil is leaking onto the manifold (I think) only when you really get on the accelerator and end's up smoking the interior up. I've heard that the valve cover gaskets go on these cars, could this be the problem with that? Second thing is when you make left turns, or turn the wheel period to the left, the right front shock clicks.... I'm thinking it might be the bushing, anyone can back that up? Besides that it could use a paintjob, and a spare tyre...

oil leaking: yes the valve cover gaskets do go bad. look under the hood and check to see if there is any oil leaking out of the covers and running down the side of the engine.
turning problem: does it "click" when you turn the steering wheel all the way the left or does it do it no matter how far u turn it? |
lol i know my bushings are bad, when i turn sharp they pop. surprised that the mechanic didnt see them when it inspected 2yrs ago.
