Supra radiators w/brass tanks?
Got quite a surprise when I took my 1990 radiator to a local rad. shop. I wanted to have a thicker 3-row core made for it. Rad. shop took one look and said "no way, this thing has plastic tanks".
Did any years of the Mklll have metal tanks? The car has an auto trans., and the nice $$$ aftermarket alum. rads. don't have AT provisions. They said to mount an ext. trans. cooler ahead of the rad., but this would probably defeat most of the purpose of trying to dump more engine heat here in an Arizona summer, where 115 deg. is common.

My '89 had a brass tank, 2 row. It blew, split the tank seam open. 2 years ago I got an aluminum core with plastic tanks for $120 from 'radiators.com'.
It has the auto trans cooler built in. I live in the Mojave Desert, 105*+ summers. A/C on day & nite. I ran a small trans cooler out about 6" in front of the a/c condensor, using some brackets I fabbed. I run the trans oil into it 'before' the radiator, to take some heat out of the fluid so it won't heat up the engine coolant as much. Everything runs very cool. Also, there are brass ones out there. Check around on the net. They are about 50% to 100% more $$.
