Exhaust System SOUND?!
 

Just wondering if there is a site or some way to hear how an exhaust (catback) will sound. I know theres plenty of different types, just not sure which will provide the best power and the closest to the sound I want it to produce. Anyone have a site or links or something of that sort?

Can anyone help? Dont want to buy an exhaust without knowing what its going to sound like! Of course the performance issue is the main factor but sound is important too!

look around hksusa.com because i remember listening to some but i dont think i seen any supras.

not many people make exhausts for our supras but try suprastore.com or if you can find a greddy/trust exhaust with dual exhaust tips.. thats what i have and i love the way it sounds. its not too loud but it rumbles. and it doesnt have the coffee can exhaust that many people have come to hate

Hey mate, i had one made up (no particular brand as such...) full 3" mandrel from turbo back, and it was initially way to loud!!
Had to put extra resonator in to dull down the annoying drone that it was making at 2 - 3k.
I really wanted something with more of a low rumble.
Although i gotta say, she sounds much better now, and when she gets going after 4k up to 6k she sounds MEAN!!!!

i know what you mean about the resonator
i had to put the one that came with the exhaust in for the same reason

Check out horsepowerfreaks.com and look for an exhaust called the Goliath, it sounds sweet

They dont really have much for toyotas but they have other straight 6 motors and what they have as exhaust systems.
