honestly, just maintain the car. replacing hoses is vital and should be looked at first. when i got the car, i didnt know much about it, i was an arrogant teen thinking "whoa what a sweet car" and i just drove the crap out of it. i have learned so much from then, and from my experiences. hoses blow first, thats what went on me. replace vacuum lines as well, not expensive stuff. these things will last you another 20yrs. I had a rod knock a few years back because I was stupid and didnt know much on cars, and i had my clutch replaced, so it is good for a long time now. pushing 250,000kms and its awesome
general care is key and you will be fine. i cant see myself having another car, i will have this car as long as i possibly can. toyotas are amazing. my car is 20yrs old and it runs like a dream, and has that aggressive MKIII look to it. |
