Differing on diffs
The LSD in my supra(86.5) is not working as well as it used to. On going to replace it, i was wondering which is the best diff for the car? I think it has a 4.3:1 ratio.
I know some later LSD diffs have around 3.7:1 ratio. Is there any advantage in the 3.7:1 diff? Seems you're just loosing out on acceleration for top end speed that you really don't need cause the car can fly easily off the clock with the 4.3:1 diff... So which is the best? |

I'd stick with the 4.3, without a turbo it helps you get up and go alot better. You probably won't like the lost perfomance going with a 3.9 or 3.73.

i have the 1jz conversion so turbo's aren't a problem but i'd assume putting a new 4.3:1 back in would be the best option. These cars already have a good top end speed.
