anything is possible... unlike is the word you should use. as long as the turbos fit and have all the lines, its totally possible. i saw a thread on supra mania a guy was tt his 7m.

It will take lots of custom work and tons of money. But it can and has been done.

with a good hg and arp bolts and proper torquing, the engine will hold up to almost anything. and if it is a turbo engine the compression will be better suited for a tt.
twin turbo wont really help the 7m unless you have sufficient suppporting mods and good turbos but you wouldnt tt a 7m if it wasnt ready for it.

this is jus one of those things that if youre not going all out, dont go out at all
cuz if do put a second turbo one 7m, wont you need to raise the compression a lil bit more, you probebly need bigger injector, somewhat around 600 cc maybe more a MHG is a mandatory when it comes to this project plus you askd if its possible, its jus a matter of money if you have the dough, you can get any crazy mod you want put even four turbos in there, 2 in the engine 2 in the back, if you want lol plus if ur driving you car daily, youre gonna have a high upkeep with all those but if you are succesful , broadcast the good news a few pics, and maybe even a write-up, if its not too much to ask

If you have to ask, it's too much.
To anyone who's even remotely serious, check ebay. There's an OBX twin turbo manifold on there almost all the time. Raise the compression? no. MHG? should be mandatory for any sort of reliability. 600cc injectors? doesn't have to unless he wants to make over 400rwhp. reliability? a tt'd 7m can be a dd as long as you use good parts. last i checked, a lot of people dd mkiv's, so the upkeep is really only in the initial build. if you do it right the first time, it'll be fine for years to come. |
