transmission problem URGENT HELP!!!
Hello
well my transmissions been troubling me alot i have a ga70 which came with the 5 speed gear box - while driving at high speed to shift from fist gear to second there always is a crankkk sound so i have to leve the acceleration and press the clutch again to do this right and all my gear shifting is real hard - and going back from 5 th gear to 4th then 3rd or 2nd is like litrally impossible - i am assuming its the syncronizing rings ? any1 has had this problem and knows where i can get the parts from to fix this ? i live in india so i will need some1 whi ships international - i dont think the parts will be expensive i can do the installation myself |

Are you hearing grinding in your down shifts or just not sticking, does very much sound syncronizer rings. Bad synchros would also explain why double clutching his helping because its slowing everything down faster.

yup
Yeahh the transmission while in gear sounds like wierd as if there is a riot inside the transmission and everytime i shift gears there is this strange sound as if the blow of valve is whispering at me from inside the tranny -
and the crank sound comes while shifting to the second gear in high speed - |

Could be a worn out slave cylinder. Also, the syncros will get jacked up after a while of the clutch not fully engaging.

I've got a friend who can usually get his hands on manual tranny rebuild kits... pm me if you want to get in touch with him. it has new synchros, bearings, and seals
