my ebrake light

i dont know what is going on. Every time i shift into second gear and above my ebrake light comes on and will not go off. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

it's been a hell of a long time but i think this is caused by the ebrake being out of adjustment . I'm sure someone else will chime in

E-brake light also signals low brake fluid, check your levels, could be slosh making it go too low.
