Super Slow on D, L and 2 ok
I replaced the engine on my 87 supra (not turbo), only to find out that when I started on D the car was very slow, however if I start on L it works fine. I called around and was told I needed a tranny. So I changed the tranny only to find out that the problem was still there, I was then told to change the TPS, I did but the problem did not get solved, I was then told to change the ECT. My car has 89530-14220, so I got a replacement, but the problem still there.
Does any body have any idea as to where to go next. I got this car with half a block, the head was gone and all the wires and vacuum hoses had been taken off. Can I get a schematic of the vacuum and harness. I might be missing a connection on vacuum or the harness. |

You have a miserable problem. Good luck ! I've found the vacuum diagrams at the library, in the repair manuals. You can photo copy, or check out the book and take it home.
