Default Turbo Elbow?

What does this Turbo Elbow do? Less gas mialage? HP? can you feel when you put it in?

And I was also thinking of putting in a blow off valve for my 89 turbo. This is just about sound right? wont affect the Turbo?

Default

blow off
is not just about sound
when and if you modify the turbo or replace it with one that really blows
you are talking about several times more pounds of forced air than stock
being shoved into the engine . when you let off the gas that forced air lets say 18lbs is looking for some place to go . without a proper blow off vavle that air goes right back to the turbo and can cause backspin , not good for a turbo that is designed to go in one direction all the time .
