Thumbs down No turn signals :(

When I started my car up last week after a long sit in my garage, I realized i've lost my turn signals ! When I try to signal , there is no sound , no blinking in the console and nothing outside . I checked the fuses in the Driverside kickpanel and they seem to be fine.

I've been told that theres something called a flashing unit , which may be the problem, but I have no idea where to find it or what it does!

If you have any suggestions , or can help me find the flashing unit, it would be greatly appreciated.

yes, the flashers could be bad they are above the fuses and they are silver and circular and acouple centimeters tall.......also if you have ur dash out like near the heater unit and radio if you have the flasher switch wires unhooked then this could also cause the blinkers to not work. (speaking of experience) good luck with it

Could be a bad combo swtich too. Check continuity on your combos. I'd explain exactly how but its too complicated to post here... so buy a manual, it'll have everything you need. Usually e-bay has the computer ones, i managed to snag a paperback =D. Also the blinker really might be the problem. It is the first relay above and to the right of all your fuses in the driver's kick. But battery voltage to it at 1 and 3, check continuity at 2 and 4. Also could be your integration realy #2 aka retractor motor module. If not then some wires metled...

i had this problem too, and believe me, it gave me more difficulty and stress that i was real pissed off. but anywayz, check if your emergency light switch is connected, if its not....chaching!!! theres the problem. but if it is, find out if theres an emergency light fuse and check that out, but im pretty sure this is your problem.

Default very peculiar

Alright , so I replaced the flashing unit , still nothing . AND the battery seems to be draining itself everytime I leave the car . Seems to me like a bad connection , I imagine it could be anywhere .

For those of you who've taken your dash apart, Is it really difficult ? Any tips or tricks I should know about ?

thanks !

theres no good way to tell, just replace it. there like 40$ thou, which is ridiculous. And that silvery thing (that im also talking about) is called a horn relay at autoparts stores. There is 3 or 4 under there, and there all the same. But pep boys only had it under "horn relay"
