NEED HELP!!-my 89 mik3 emitts blue smoke
my car has 135,000 miles on it. when i got it i realize when ever i pulled up to a stop sign i would see blue smoke in the rear view mirror. the blue smoke(oil)isn't coming out while i'm driveing like burnt rings, but when i ride around and as soon as i push in the clutch in lots of smoke rolls out. i also notice oil in the intercooler lines and was wondering if my oil seals on my turbo are going bad wondering if that is the problem. any help would be greatly apriciated

It is normal to have oil in the IC and the IC lines.
That is from the PCV system. As far as you wondering about the condition of your motor, do a compression test or a leak down test. That is what those tests are for. How familiar are you with those tests? And do you know how to do them? More info to come if you don't. |
