gas mileage?
Hey, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I was just wondering what everyone's gas mileage is? I get about 160 miles per tank during normal city driving and I was wondering if this is the normal rate of supras. Thanks.

I have an 86.5 N/A and around the city I'll get about 280 miles to a tank. On the freeway, about 350. That's right in the range of 20-30 mpg like it's supposed to get I believe.
If you have a lead foot it 'el get worse mileage. WOuld be interesting to see what everyone else is getting. |

To increase the mileage:
Make sure it's tuned up frequently with spark plugs, wires, dist. cap and rotor, fuel filter and STP Oil Treatment. StP will make the oil more viscous, so less friction means less energy lost to heat. ANother thing is to make sure your tires are well balanced, properly inflated and the car has good alignment. Adding fuel system cleaner periodically will also help. |

hmm so like 220 per tank how many liters or gallons does the tank hold ?
I found if you lay off the turbo liek dont make it go over 0 then the gass millage is significantly better But when you got a car like this it is hard not to |

87 Na
Mine gets around 220-240 between fillups. I'm an american living and working in Kuwait so Im not worried about the price of gas which here it costs me around 12 dollars to fill up my tank, but my car gets well below what it should.

My tank holds about 15.5 gallons. There is 3.78 liters per gallon, so that ends up being bout 57 liters per tank. Is gas priced per liter in other countries? Im in the US.
